Well said by @AdrianMaloneyJr !
Jaiden Baker @JaidenBaker44 plays winning basketball, just like he says. Coaches want guards that make good decisions with the ball and are intelligently unselfish with it. Baker, as pointed out below, is and does these things.

I like the point-guard qualities I'm seeing from 2027 PG Jaiden Baker.
At 5'9", Baker understands that his game has to be built around skill, pace, and decision-making. He handles it with confidence, changes direction, creates separation, and shows the ability to make shots while also initiating offense for others.
For me, that's the key to his evaluation. A smaller guard has to make his size less important by thinking the game, controlling possessions, and consistently creating advantages. Baker shows some of those qualities on film.
The next step is seeing it consistently over complete games against pressure and size, but there's enough point-guard skill here that I'd keep evaluating Baker as a 2027 college prospect.

If you like guards who value possessions then youโll like Jaiden Baker he shows that type of approach when itโs game time. He plays under control, makes the extra pass, competes on both ends and doesnโt look rushed when he has to make a decision. Those winning habits matter just as much as the highlight plays. ๐๐ @JaidenBaker44@NXTLevelSN@AllNOneSports1
Jaiden Baker @JaidenBaker44 brought some serious two-way magic to the @AllNOneSports1 Labor Day Showcase. His defense was on another level from the jump, bringing scrappy on-ball aggression, staying in his manโs space, and making every touch tough. He was a pest defensively, applying pressure, battling through possessions, and causing major problems with the way he attacked that end of the floor.
Jaiden brought plenty to the offensive side as well. He found ways to score effectively, attacked when looks opened up, and showed he could create for others with some sweet dimes. He played with good awareness, saw the floor well and knew when to look his own basket or get a teammate involved.
What really stood out was the impact he made on both ends. Baker competed hard defensively, brought aggression on the ball, scored, and created opportunities with his passing. That two-way magic was rolling at the All-N-One Labor Day Showcase, and Baker made sure his game was felt.

๐ฅ @JaidenBaker44 made an impression at the @AllNOneSports1 Labor Day Showcase.
The @ths_hoops guard played with an attacking mindset, flashed sneaky athleticism, and showed the high basketball IQ to make the right play when the defense gave him an opening.
๐ Strong showing.

All-N-One Labor Day Showcase: Player To Watch
Jaiden Baker @JaidenBaker44
Baker is a talented player and prospect coming from James E. Taylor High School! He's an excellent student as well, holding an impressive 3.6 GPA. Baker was even named to a Student Athlete Leadership team last high school season. In grassroots season, with Houston Hoops Central, he was named as the MVP of his 16u team. Baker is a well rounded player with a high basketball IQ. He can shoot with deep range, but his game is more than that. Coaches and scouts at the showcase will see a willing and effective passer that can find teammates in scoring positions.

2027 PG @JaidenBaker44 is seeing the work translate into opportunities ๐ Tough on-ball defender, willing playmaker and a true floor general who impacts winning on both ends. Another strong earned offer ๐ฅ @NXTLevelSN
Itโs August, so that means itโs time for the 20 in 20. Here are the 3rd period warriors that survived the battle. We are so proud of these young men!!
**๐ฅ๐Jaiden Baker is a tough, scrappy, hard nosed pg prospect. Tough on ball defender that is a true PG. Looks to get teammates involved first but can also score if needed .
