Le ministère de la Guerre américain a déclaré sur X :
«Sur ordre du commandant en chef, les forces du Commandement central des États-Unis ont commencé à lancer des frappes supplémentaires contre l'Iran afin d'affaiblir encore davantage sa capacité à menacer la liberté de navigation dans le détroit d'Ormuz».
