A woman hiking in Canada nearly became a grizzly’s next meal and the video circulating right now is genuinely one of the most intense wildlife encounters you will ever watch - her dog is with her, a massive grizzly is right there, and somehow she kept her head together long enough for both of them to walk away breathing.
That is not a small thing. Most people talk tough until nature is standing ten feet in front of them and every instinct in your body is screaming to run, and running is exactly the worst thing you can do.
Grizzlies are built to chase, they top out over 700 pounds and can cover ground faster than any human alive. The people who survive these moments are the ones who override pure fear with pure discipline and this woman did exactly that.
If you hike, camp, or spend any real time in the wilderness - bear spray is not optional, it is the difference between a story you tell and one somebody else tells about you.
Could you have kept your cool?
Hats off to her.

ELON MUSK: The Future of Energy Is Beyond Earth.
"It's increasingly difficult to build power plants on the ground. There are very few people who want a power plant in their backyard, so if we wanted to say double the electricity usage of the United States, which is on average about 500 gigawatts, we would have to build, about twice as many power plants, which I don't think people are, well, most communities are not super excited about that, but actually, if we go to space, we can go far beyond the electricity generation of Earth.
In fact, this is going to sound kind of crazy, but you could actually increase harnessed energy by a factor of a million and still be using much less than a millionth of the sun's energy, so current human civilization uses much less than a trillionth of the sun's energy output, which is kind of humbling to think about."
🇬🇧 Two Yemenis arrested with traditional Yemeni knives … for religious purposes, as they say.
Now that’s getting funny. Sikhs can have knives and Yemenis cannot. But now they want to carry knives too … an exception for one leads to others wanting exceptions.

@Vivek4real_ so, engineer the virus through your stupid mRNA vaccines, and sell the cure... why not get to the root of the cancer, and ask ourselves what caused it to begin with? Oh, that probably would not be a viable business model, would it, Larry?
🚨 ELON MUSK JUST REVEALED OPTIMUS 3 IS IN THE FINAL STAGES
Elon Musk dropped big news on Tesla’s humanoid robot. Optimus 3 will be by far the most advanced robot in the world with nothing even close.
He said they haven’t sent any demos of robots that match it yet. Production starts this summer, slow at first, then ramps to high volume around next summer. Optimus 4 design will be complete next year too, with plans for a new improved robot every single year.
This is American innovation moving at full speed and leaving the competition in the dust.
@Vivek4real_ all good: Grok is also compromised... I can't count how many "so-called" tin foiled hat conspiracies have been debunked by Grok...it becomes blatantly obvious, Grok's datasets are curated and controlled by the military-industrial complex. Albeit, Grok wants to do the right thing.
A tiny bee just did what chemotherapy couldn't.
Scientists in Australia discovered that honeybee venom can wipe out 100% of aggressive breast cancer cells in under 60 minutes.
And the healthy cells around them? Barely touched.
The breakthrough came from Dr. Ciara Duffy and her team at the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research, working alongside the University of Western Australia.
They tested venom drawn from 312 honeybees and bumblebees across Australia, Ireland, and England.
The target: triple-negative breast cancer and HER2-enriched breast cancer. Two of the deadliest, most stubborn forms of the disease.
The weapon: melittin. The same tiny peptide that makes a bee sting burn.
At one specific dose, melittin tore through cancer cell membranes completely within an hour. Within just 20 minutes, it shut down the chemical signals cancer cells need to grow and multiply.
Bumblebee venom, which lacks melittin, did nothing. Zero effect, even at high concentrations.
Scientists then recreated melittin synthetically in the lab and got almost identical results, meaning no bees need to be harmed to develop the therapy.
Published in the peer-reviewed journal npj Precision Oncology, the findings are still early-stage. Human trials haven't happened yet.
But one thing is clear. Nature has been hiding answers in plain sight all along, sometimes inside the smallest creatures on Earth.
