In 1977, he attained 'maha samadhi' and after that his disciples, without proper authorization, took up the guruship of the movement... ISKCON Bombay wanted to expel all the people who are holding this view that Srila Prabhupada is the only guru... They (ISKCON Bombay) tried to claim the property of ISKCON Bengaluru, but unless we change our faith, they will throw us out. Today the Supreme Court has held that Bengaluru registered ISKCON society and owner of the temple."
