I am absolutely shattered and this is the worst day of my life. This morning, my wife and I, went to her OB appointment for a regular check up and anatomy scan to see how big our daughter was at almost 20 weeks. That is when the doctor let us know that they couldn’t find a heartbeat and that my wife had miscarried. Devastated to learn that our daughter passed away sometime last week and we didn’t know.

Currently we are in the hospital waiting to deliver so we can see our girl, hold her, get her hand/feet prints, and say our goodbyes. In the coming days, I will not be around as we plan our daughter’s burial and private service. Please don’t feel any pressure to give but I did create a go fund me to help with costs of a plot in the cemetery, burial, and funeral costs. I appreciate any prayers, love, and support. I haven’t really wanted to post anything since the passing of my father. My heart has hurt too much. I’m gonna keep this short because he certainly hated long rambling speeches. He was so many things to so many people, but I was so lucky and blessed to be apart of a very small group that got to call him “Dad”. My heart is full of so much sadness and sorrow, but also so much love and gratitude. I got 14,501 days with that man and I know that is such a blessing. I think this quote best describes my father.
