Acts of service men are dangerously attractive.
fixing problems, making sure you have eaten, charging your phone, carrying your things... that’s romance to me.
I would never tell a Nigga he would never find better than me it’s really bitches out here buying niggas rentals putting houses in they name, taking out loans flying them out , letting them drive their cars etc I don’t have nothing but a hard time it’s deff better out here😭🤏🏽
i'm not even gonna pretend that receipt twist has my mind completely in the gutter. a man who plans something thoughtful when he's broke is the same man who pays attention to what makes you fall apart later. effort is effort i notice it everywhere.. where do i find that kind of man pls??
@mala_sarkady A deposit on the camera you’ve been wanting is better than a cheap gift he could afford that day. Intent showed up when the money didn’t.
-The bathroom floor is always dry.
-Your things remain the same way you left them.
-The peace and quiet to think and plan.
-You cook and eat whatever and whenever you like.
-Just being.
May you marry a man whose love for you will always be greater than his ego, someone who chooses understanding over pride, communication over silence, and protecting the relationship over winning an argument.
And you guys are very dishonest about the fact that its men that are creating broken families. Impregnating women and not being present fathers but who catches the smoke??? It’s the parent that stayed. You’d rather tell women to pick better and not call deadbeats out.
I just witnessed a boy, maybe about 6 or 7, accidentally spill a slushee everywhere. I'm talking blue and red goop all over the floor, the table, everywhere. The boy looked up at who I assume was his father, and immediately apologized. Instead of getting angry, his father just said "Hey, it happens. Let's go get napkins and I can show you how to clean it up." Then they calmly went to get napkins and then he helped him clean the entire mess. Then, as they were throwing the napkins away, the father said to his son, "You're going to be a human being for a long time, and you have such a smart brain that it's important you learn how to be more aware of what you're doing. So next time just be sure to pay more attention to your surroundings so accidents like this don't happen. Accidents like these can be prevented, but it's still okay if they happen. As long as you take responsibility for your mistakes, the clean up is a breeze."
I have no words. That is parenting done right. 👏👏👏👏👏
EDIT TO UPDATE: they are still sitting nearby, and the father just said
"I know big messes seem overwhelming and you might feel like you can't do it by yourself, but it's always okay to ask for help. There is no problem with asking for help when you need it."
My boyfriend always uses “we” when I’m stressed, scared, or dealing with something difficult. “We’ll figure this out.” “We’ll get through this.” And I don’t think he realizes how much those little words mean to me. It reminds me that I don’t have to face everything alone. I have someone beside me.
When you select a partner, whether you realize it or not, you're choosing a whole lifestyle and not just the person. You're choosing their sleep schedule. You're choosing their money habits, you're choosing their stress levels, their family drama, their levels of cleanliness, their work ethic, their coping mechanisms, all of these things will be a baseline of your daily life. If that normal is doom scrolling till 2:00 a.m., avoiding all conflict, impulse spending and never exercising, guess what, they're signing up to live in that ecosystem. Love does not cancel out people's flaws. In fact, love just makes you tolerate them for longer. Most people obsess over do we have romantic chemistry? They completely skip "Can I live with this person's version of a tuesday for the next 10 years?" The hard truth is you don't fix somebody's lifestyle from the inside while either accept the package as they are or you walk away.
I need my nigga to like sex as much as I do cause I’ll literally fuck my nigga anywhere anytime😭😭 idc if we out boo meet me at da carrrrrrr mommy need dattttt
I see a lot of men posting how no woman deserves this and I think that’s sad. Most restaurants would do this for free, at least back then when I did it, it came as a free service. How cheap can you be as a man to even lack the empathy to do something nice and basic for that girl you claim to like?
