@themadsloth Like I am Canadian and I’m also a Sikh I’ve respect this country. This is where I was born. I’m thankful for this country that took my parents, but there are some other peoples who are messed up who don’t care about laws or other peoples safety?

@EmilyFarina5 During the time when Sikhism was developing, Sikhs faced persecution and conflicts, and these weapons were meant for protection and defending others.

@EmilyFarina5 Here’s the thing: I’m also a Sikh, and personally, I wouldn’t feel safe around someone carrying an object that could easily be used to seriously harm or kill someone. In Sikh scriptures and tradition, carrying weapons was connected to the historical context of self-defense.
