Sifuna was right on this one.
When employment letters for teachers are being handed out at State House, we have a serious problem. Hiring teachers should be an institutional process handled by the employer not a political favour handed down by the President.
Public jobs should belong to the system, not to State House.
Whatever you do in life, make sure you build enough resources for your old age. Don’t be in your 70s depending on your children for survival. Your children are not a retirement plan or your old-age insurance scheme! utaumia
This is a constitutional coup against the TSC.
Article 237 gives the independent Teachers Service Commission exclusive power to appoint teachers, not @StateHouseKenya, not the Speaker, not Members of Parliament & political brokers.
@HonWetangula’s admission that letters now come from @StateHouseKenya is an open confession of executive capture. It turns jobs into patronage, locks out qualified graduates, and reduces @TSC_KE to a rubber stamp.
Hoarding and dishing out these letters through MPs is institutionalised corruption.

HE @PR_Diomaye of Senegal became President at 44. 2027 @edwinsifuna will be 45. True the opposition must democratically choose one presidential candidate. But you mean SIFUNA, BABA’s reincarnation, shielded by a BABU Nairobi governor, cannot lift a Sword, Bible & Constitution?
The Political Parties Disputes Tribunal has certified as urgent a case challenging the Registrar of Political Parties’ refusal to reserve the name Linda Mwananchi Movement (LMM)
The matter will then be heard inter partes on August 25, 2026.

Here in Western Kenya everyone: children; teenagers; youths; adults and senior citizens want President Edwin Sifuna. Dr Bonny Khalwale’s little girl insisted to be taken to speak to the President. The three unwise old men will never speak about Luhya unity again.
Joint inspection with H.E Governor Gladys Wanga of the Oyugis Water Supply Project and launch of the Oyugis and Kendu Bay Last Mile Component. The National and County governments should work together as envisioned under Intergovernmental Coordination Framework to provide quality services
Water Minister Eng. Eric Mugaa is a conscientious Public Servant. Yesterday , he showed he is above partisan politics for calling out Homa Bay Governor Gladys Wanga & her County Executives for professional negligence. The County has been supplying contaminated water to its people! Many Ministers would have covered up the sheer incompetence of a Pro-Government Governor. But not Minister Mugaa because he is faithful to his professional calling & his Oath of Public Service. Wish we had more conscientious Public Servants like Eng. Mugaa.
