The deepest women love what you haven't become yet. they can smell the potential on you like an animal scenting prey, and something in them wants to chase it out of hiding. they want to draw out the shadowed parts of you, pulling them into the light with their own hands, and watching your face as they do it. it's love of the process, love of being the chisel god slid across your surface to reveal the form trapped inside the marble. they are michelangelo and you are just the stone they chose for their next masterpiece
don’t tell me “there’s other fish in the sea” those fishes don’t do what my fish does, they don’t even look like my fish. my fish swims a little different, kinda sideways, a little autistic. i like that fish. i want that fish
@teachrobotslove Agreed, imo most christians consumed with unearned pride are either brand new Christians with a holier than thou attitude or false Christians who can't really be saved since they believe what they are doing and how they act is correct and holy.
@teachrobotslove I disagree, the act of being a Christian does make you especially good and wise actually. You recognized 2 things that put you above the average folk and these are 1. that you a sinner/ inherentely flawed and 2. that you can be saved by confession, forgiveness, and faith.
I respect the Catholic Church for having zero interest in women priests. No question about it, no movement for it among the cardinals. Popes laugh if they’re asked about it. A whole org just profoundly unmoved by this pervasive modern sensibility. Eternal institution energy.
The most Catholic thing about me is I seriously believe Marriage is a traditional Magic ritual that binds your souls together, there’s no such thing as divorce that’s just a piece of paper, no matter how far apart you are, you’re still bonded until death separates you
