@Dallastheokie @GingerGano The fault isnβt strictly with the employer. They must be this way because people are often dishonest. The testing is helpful to track progress in a pandemic. We can track progress with prevention methods and make informed decisions to possibly save lives. What is the alternative?
@Dallastheokie @GingerGano The point about cost is valid. I am fortunate in my area because the health department does PCR tests for free regardless of insurance. Your point is solid for some places, like your locale, but not everywhere. Could the problem be the mgmt of testing and not the test itself?
@Dallastheokie @GingerGano There is also the problem of most employers not allowing employees to stay home because they think they might be infected and contagious. Thatβs not a even a CV problem. Itβs after you have come to work and displayed symptoms or received a positive test that they let you go home
@Dallastheokie @GingerGano If I suspect I have Covid due to contact with another who does, but I continue about my business without getting tested, am I not putting others at risk due to my negligence? Regardless of how threatening the virus is, thatβs a shitty, self-centered decision to make for others.
