@TheSlidingBilly @Royals Yes I am. Turns out there's a new team in KC called the Royals and the Brooklyn club moved way out west, and changed their name to the Dodgers

On this day in 1904 Cardinals manager and player Kid Nichols struck out 17 Brooklyn batters in our 15 inning win. Was a pleasure playing with this great Cardinals team.

Jake Beckley recorded 23,755 putouts at first base during his career. The number still stands as the all-time record. The Hall of Famer was born #OTD in 1867.
