Carlton defender Jacob Weitering won’t play against Essendon after suffering a minor calf strain. Will aim to be back v Giants in Round 15.

Blake Acres work rate unbelievable. He’s been very good, bad moments with ball in hand but nothing to erase his work up and down the ground.

We're wrapping our arms around Matt Carroll, with scans confirming he ruptured his ACL in last night’s game 😔
Tough news after such an impressive year from our No.32. The whole Carlton family is behind you, Jeff 💙

The idea of Carlton winning a game so comfortably was preposterous not even a month ago.
To do it without Jacob Weitering just wasn’t even mentionable.
If there's any hope this Carlton coaching appointment may be different it's this.
Pagan- Messiah
Ratten- Interim
Malthouse- Messiah
Bolton- Obvious choice, process happened but always Bolton.
Teague- Interim
Voss- Process started later than rest that year

Seems more unlikely than likely that Patrick Cripps is in navy blue next year.
Could get a whole lot worse for a long time before better.
Dark times ahead, desperately sad end to his time at Carlton if he leaves.
Tom: "I think there's absolutely a world where Cripps is not at Carlton next year."
Hodgey: "That's a discussion for the new coach. If you look at what (Steven) King did when he moved to Melbourne, moving on Petracca and Oliver."
