The Lib Dems had control of Cambridge City Council from 2000 to 2012. They lost that majority having been in government for 2 years. Labour have had control of Cambridge City Council for the last 12 years, they have been in government for 2 years

Early prediction for 2026. Labour loses majority. Council goes to NOC. Pincer movement by Lib Dems and Greens taking a couple of seats each.
I think I'm right in saying no party in government has held CCC for more than 2 years (assuming Lab win GE of course)
