We are trying to predict where St Mary’s would be if the committee met today to decide. Currently, Saint Mary’s has played 1 Quad 1 game (0-1), has the 138th ranked schedule, and has just a 0.69 WAB. This game is huge because outside of Santa Clara and Gonzaga, they likely won’t have any more Q1 opportunities. Our predicted bracket which simulates the entire season has them at a 10 seed. The difference is UNC played 13 Q1 games last year and St Mary’s doesn’t get the opportunity
