@BriannaWu I could've sworn I had seen you post about the importance of civil discourse. Maybe not?
Also, just because you were able to do it, doesn't mean that everyone else can. This sounds a lot like "I worked may through college, so we shouldn't do anything about student loans."
@CaseyC290290@BriannaWu If you're want to require medical documentation as part of policy, you have to consider the access and affordability of care for the affected group. "Issues" intersect, and the only way to craft pragmatic policy is to take those intersections into account.
@BriannaWu You were able to pay for your transition, with 35% of transgender people living below the poverty level, that's often not the case. And a co-pay is great, if you can afford insurance. This would endanger every transperson in the coverage gap.
Right now, 1.4 million Floridians don't have access to the care they deserve.
โA recent study showed that, for healthcare coverage, access, and affordability for women, Florida ranks 48 out of 51 states including Washington, D.C.โ

@breezybee97 The fact that the worst covid he had was a sinus infection was because of the vaccine! Doctors literally told us that feeling crummy after the shot was a sign that it was working. With a toddler in daycare I got covid 5 times, and was OK because the shot did its job.
Every four years, some third-party presidential candidates appear, eager to cash in on genuine frustrations with our political system. Letโs make sure that doesnโt happen this time.
@tradconchristan@Bigvirgo_@AbortionChat I think maybe even a better question, if I walk by someone shivering in the street and do not give him the shirt off my back shouI'd I be prosecuted for that too? What if someone asks for food on the street and I ignore them? If this is about religion, I hope you're consistent.
@tradconchristan@Bigvirgo_@AbortionChat So you believe that government powers should be wielded to enforce Christian beliefs? So you're also in favor of the government providing food, housing, and medical care to everyone who needs it right? Pretty sure Jesus talked about those things a lot more than abortion.
