There’d of been an apology straight away and the officer would already be sacked.

Two tier policing is more and more evident in this country and it’ll only get worse.

Assaulting a police officer? He was being attacked and didn’t have much time to think and tried defending himself as he thought the police officer was one of the attackers. Absolute joke this country is

We are aware of footage showing the arrest of a man after a disorder on Broad Street at 1.30am on 21 June.

Officers found a group of men fighting. As the incident was dealt with, an officer was punched.

One man was arrested and charged with assaulting a police officer.
