@TBrandon84 Would a Myles Garrett trade have made me feel better of where this team is at? Not entirely, it would be entirely dependent on cost. The truth is that the Lions might not be a Myles Garrett away from the SB. The OC hire is still a massive question-mark along with the OL.
@Justin_Rogers This process hasn't resulted in a SB win so in my eyes it isn't working. Not to say it still can't but right now this team still has more flaws than anyone in the fanbase or media wants to admit fully.
@AtoZ_Payton It doesn't matter what the process is, it can be signing homegrown talent or it could be the "fuck them picks" approach that gets you there -- right now the Lions haven't hoisted a Lombardi trophy so their process isn't working like it should. That's how I personally view it.
@AtoZ_Payton It's a really good thing you aren't a GM because you would've been fired many moons ago lmao. The way the Lions have been building themselves hasn't resulted in a SB win that I've missed has it? Until that happens you are failing, end of story.
@BrettKollmann I don't understand what the issue is with gut-check reactions to the decisions that teams make. Isn't that a part of being a fan? I think it's perfectly fair to have negative reactions to the Draft as long as you can come back and reevaluate the process/pick if wrong.
@MiFBNetwork I'd love a trade down personally. If not I'm perfectly okay with one of Miller, Freeling, Iheanachor or Ioane (if they are ok with taking an IOL) as I think Mahogany and Frazier are better served as backups.
@king_james2007@DetroitOnLion Note that I said it's more of a 50/50 with Branch that I'd even adjust to like a 70/30 that he's fine for the future. I'm just mentally preparing for that chance that he isn't the same player (hopefully he comes back just as good as before the injury).
@AnthonyWriter5 This isn't the "gotcha" you think it is lol. You have two hits with all of that investment of capital: Hutch and Alim. There's one TBD with Tyleik but outside of that? It's a whole lot of meh and complete whiffs.
@AnthonyWriter5 I'm good on that front, going to remain critical of the lack of urgency to simply add warm bodies to the room in FA and the constant overly aggressive moves to acquire project players in the draft. Stop acting like Brad is perfect.
@LionsFanAccount Don't hate him, but you can certainly have way better. There's no other way to say it other than he is not a good pass protector, there are plenty of one-on-one reps where he just stunk it up. Personally, I'm not against an upgrade but can also tolerate him as the weakest link.
@DETLions1pride Except this team has now had two bad offseasons in a row and the process apparently still hasn't changed if early reports mean anything. Good GMs in the NFL (Howie, Les Snead) can balance drafting and getting good players via FA/trade, Brad's extensively failed at one of those.
