@KidTriple87@jerwazhere@horsetwting I'm literally within walking distance of a Toyota factory that builds most of NA's RAV4s, theres also General Dynamics nearby which builds a lot of equipment FOR the US military.
But its easier for us if the Americans remain uneducated
@5150Inprogress@sellingwinnipeg If she showed us receipts, we'd be able to do a currency conversion and tell her that 1$ Canadian is at 0.72$ USD.
Same as it was 10 years ago, and 22 years ago.
@david_parker The problem would still exist even if the conservatives were in charge, because the problem isn't a political party, its the monopoly of food supply in the hands of companies like Loblaws.
@Esichy@archer_rs Actually, wait, scratch that, its more like 9-10 years, I keep forgetting what year it is.
Did have a kidney stone though, but thats hardly related to transmittable diseases, nor would any vaccine work on those
@Esichy@archer_rs Tell me you don't understand genetics without saying you don't understand genetics.
Also, I'm up to date on every vaccine, and haven't been sick with anything in about 6-7 years
@CanadaWillPrj@kenpaquette@Martyupnorth Its also about doctrine, which Russia thinks its still 1978 and then can just charge armour at their problems and call it a day. This clown seems to share a similar opinion, that Alberta could just line their border with tanks and all will be well
@CanadaWillPrj@kenpaquette@Martyupnorth Oh tank warfare isn't done. When you charge an UNSUPPORTED antique T-55 with haphazard netting around it into defended positions, its gonna get destroyed. Tanks with proper detection systems and expensive anti-drone capability that Alberta couldn't afford would fare better
@Henry_Danfoss@kenpaquette Theres a reason Canada doesn't field many tanks in our army; if our terrain isn't dense forest, its rocks. If it isn't rocks, its lakes and rivers. If it isn't lakes and rivers, its mountains. And if it isn't mountains, THEN it's prairies and land you might get use of a tank
