Brighton are still in direct negotiations with AIK. Brighton are not giving up despite Newcastle and other clubs. A decision is expected soon.

@Bazro10 @Diamond8618 He wouldn’t play ahead of them. He’s had 20 games in the Swedish league. Howe takes a while to trust youth but nearly every manager would pick Elanga/Murphy over him.

@Bazro10 @Diamond8618 Ayari a good example of a player leaving the Swedish league at becoming a regular in the PL. That’s a very good reason for him to go there and I’m sure they’ll be hammering that point home.

@steve_lowthian @bensprattjourn Two had played Premier League football before they joined us, while Miley came through our academy. Not quite the same as signing a teenager from a lower European league. That’s Brighton’s speciality.

@ToonTakeover_ We should and it’s clearly what the club are going to try to do, but it’s a gamble for these young lads to be the first to make the jump - especially when they another club on offer with a proven development structure.

@bensprattjourn Possibly, but truth is Brighton have a huge backlog of successful stories they can sell to this type of player. We don’t. Howe’s reluctance to use young players will cost us a player or two this summer.
