@HonoluluBlues_ Most just wanna hear propaganda spewed back at them but Valenti doesn’t do that. Thats’s why it’s the only show on the station I’ll listen to. Until the callers come on, then tune out. Detroit media is already bought and paid for by UofM. We don’t need more of that
@Colteastwood A PC app launching a PC game means exclusivity is over? You guys are turning this into something it’s not. For DECADES console kids praised the ease of use of consoles to dismiss PC. Now that a console maker made a PC app that launches other PC apps you’re changing your tune?!
@Midwest708@TheBrokeMessiah@tomwarren@GrimDeath86@TommyChrist24 Absolutely. But Game Pass launched 8 years ago, and we’re still waiting and seeing if that’s gonna be the future of gaming. Xbox gets an impossibly long rope because of Microsoft’s deep pockets. So if anyone can do it, Xbox can.
@Midwest708@TheBrokeMessiah@tomwarren@GrimDeath86@TommyChrist24 Xbox/Microsoft isn’t running a charity. At some point, these decisions need to start making business sense. They are throwing EVERYTHING at the wall trying to steal market share from the competition. Is it working? Your “thank you” will turn into “what happened?” If it doesn’t.
@TheBrokeMessiah@tomwarren@GrimDeath86@TommyChrist24 There’s plenty of holes in the logic of this hypothetical next Xbox. Why would Xbox include Steam and a way for console users to send Valve a 30% cut of all the games they buy? Xbox couldn’t get PC gamers away from Steam, so their answer is to offer Steam to the console crowd?
@NikoMueller Why? PC gamers aren’t going to flock to a closed box. And Steam would be taking a cut of games sold on the platform. How is that good for Xbox? All this does is give Steam another revenue stream without needing to actually produce anything…
@eurogamer Every other Nintendo console has been a monumental flop for decades. Nintendo is trying to avoid that this time around. Some times the “safe bet”’is the best bet
