With the World Cup beginning tomorrow, there will obviously be many players to look out for, some expecting big moves and even bigger price tags after being put on the world stage. Here are 3 of the many players I strongly believe will have a large increase in market value:
Let's be real the most popular vote is probably Frank/Rosenior, but Eddie Howe deserves to be absolutely blasted for what he did to Newcastle this season 💀💀💀
🚨 Behdad Eghbali to Chelsea fans: “We want the club to be successful. We’re focused on delivering that on-pitch performance”.
“Six months ago everyone was super-happy. Results have been mixed, disappointing more recently. There’s a full reflection on what we can do better”, said at CAA’s World Congress of Sports conference via @TheAthleticFC.
Enzo Fernandez and Marc Cucurella were two of the first upcoming stars that chose Chelsea over others, signed up for Chelsea’s project, stayed with us through the dark times of Potter, Lamps and Poch, and finally saw light at the end of the tunnel after the Club World Cup win with Maresca - only for Clearlake to sack him for Eghbali’s ego issues and hire an incompetent manager.
They are fully justified in every single word they have said and I would not blame them - or anyone - for submitting a transfer request.
Any briefs that the chuckle brother sporting directors put out are a testament to how pathetic they are and how heavily they have failed Chelsea Football Club and its fans.
People can lie to themselves all they wish, but he’s simply one of the finest in the world at what he does.
Problem is, you guys want a fully polished 24-year-old all-rounder at different roles and positions in one body with max consistency like in a video game.
World Cup champion for club and country.
Knows what winning means and has the will and go-to-achieve big things at barely just 24.
A dynamic and fast leaner, covering a lot of holes in manpower for the club and always ready and available to play and fight for the club.
Whoever is coming to replace him must have a vast dynamic skill set, or you just have to sign two top-tier midfielders for the fun of his dynamism alone.
@CFCdruw He isn't "running away when times are tough." He arrived to the club during the uprising of his career to a horrendous Chelsea. He stuck through it until he gave us trophies last season. Players as talented as him deserve the opportunity to leave after the owners let him down.
I will not stand for the Enzo Fernández hate!
He joined us at the lowest point and has played under FIVE different managers. He played a HUGE part in the comeback to win the conference league and was fantastic in the CWC. These were two trophies we never would have thought of winning under this ownership.
On top of that he is one of the best leaders and captains I have seen in modern football, especially for his age and for not speaking any English. Enzo has been the face of Chelsea ever since he got here and has given 110% on the pitch, in training, and in the locker room. We are truly blessed to have him here and if he leaves soon, I won’t blame him at all and will follow him anywhere he goes. 💙🇦🇷
💙 An open letter from Reece James to you, the Chelsea supporters..
“Chelsea is special. I’ve always known it. I’ve always felt it. And it’s why I had no hesitation in extending my time here.
I’ve supported the club for as long as I can remember. My love has never changed. I have the same feeling wearing a Chelsea shirt as I did when I was six years old. It matters to me. Every time.
So when I’m out on the pitch, battling for the ball or trying to get us forward, know I’m one of you. That I feel what you feel. I’m representing our club, just in a different way.
So many of my childhood memories involve Chelsea. Our games meant so much to me. My brother, Josh, was a Manchester United supporter. Lauren and I were Chelsea. You know the finals we played against them over the years…there was a rivalry in our house!
We all lived football. Playing. Watching. Learning. My vision was always to play for Chelsea – even once would’ve been enough for me. So to have achieved what I have, I can honestly say it is a dream come true.
But I want more – that’s the Chelsea mentality. It was drilled into me in the Academy. It’s what I learned from the legends of this club that I watched at Stamford Bridge. It’s the example I set as captain.
I remember watching us win the Champions League in 2012. What a night. Didier Drogba, my childhood idol, helping us become European champions. Then, nine years later, I got to live that experience in Porto. Another dream fulfilled.
I felt the same pride last summer. Winning the Conference League, my first trophy as captain…what a feeling. But we weren’t done; it’s that Chelsea mentality I was talking about. We go again. We push for more. And we became world champions.
Lifting that trophy in New York is something I’ll never forget. It showed the world the best of Chelsea. It demonstrated what’s in our DNA.
You, the supporters, are part of that. You make Stamford Bridge special. You drive us on in the difficult moments. Know that it is always appreciated. Know that it has been crucial to our successes.
Personally, I will be forever grateful for the support you’ve shown me, from that debut against Grimsby Town to the present day. You know it’s not always been easy, and there have been challenges, but you stuck by me throughout. Hopefully, in the seasons to come, I can repay that further.
My journey with Chelsea has lasted almost twenty years, but there is still so much more to come. I’m convinced of what we’re building here under this ownership, the Sporting Directors, Coach, squad, and all the staff. We all want more success. We all want to lift more trophies. We all want to create more lasting memories.
As Chelsea captain, I’ll do all I can to make that happen. As a Chelsea supporter, I truly hope it does.
See you all at the Bridge.”
Reece.
There was a Gatorade shower before the 2 minute warning
The Chiefs didn’t make it past the 50 yard line until the end of the 3rd quarter
It was 34-0 at one point
It’s the final day as DEFENDING Super Bowl champs but never stop appreciating that journey
