@carlrichell@BrodieOnLinux As someone familiar with the challenges of software development I can relate to this haha. But I'm glad to hear it's still coming today! I'm looking forward to installing it on my PC and seeing how well Unreal Engine works on it.
@Leaferson Sometimes a small break from Twitter can be a good thing. But thanks man, I've been going through this for a long time but lately, it's gotten a lot worse. It's something I can't ignore anymore. I really hope things get better too
@Leaferson@cazwolf It’s common for indie devs to hit a technical wall during development of a game. I’ve seen many small indie devs experience it. But, I’m sure you can overcome it man. I wish I could help but sadly I know absolutely nothing about RPGMaker haha
@Neomatter3420 The same thing could be said about Nier. Nier has some of the best music I’ve ever heard in a video game. I often listen to Nier and Persona music outside the games
@Leaferson Personally, I was sold from the moment it was announced. But that's mainly because TotK is a follow-up to BOTW haha. Considering the excellent design of the first game, I was instantly interested in a follow-up.
@Leaferson Blog posts are basically there to update an audience on the game. If there is not many views that means you’ve got more work to do in promoting your game & building an audience! As an aspiring game dev, this is a topic I’ve been looking into a lot too. I’ve got many ideas for it
@XC_Enel Might be a hot take, but personally I like Replicant more than Automata in both gameplay & story. Tho I love them both, I just like Replicant a bit more. I’m sad it doesn’t get as much praise as Automata does
@Leaferson That’s definitely understandable. Well maybe Octopath 2 will be what you wanted from the first game! From what I’ve heard the new game is basically improved in every way compared to the first game. I haven’t played it yet but hopefully the party interactions are improved as well
@Leaferson Imo the game had too much going for it to let that ruin it. The gameplay is great, world is well designed, characters are well written with good back stories & I liked experiencing the story of each different character. The world building was great, the music was great also
@DJK1NG_Gaming I think it’s because Sony tends to focus on AAA highly detailed cinematic experiences. Which are expensive & take long to develop. While Nintendo has far more variety of different types of games, many of which have a lower budget than Sony’s usual games & less dev time as well.
@Leaferson I wasn’t talking about hot gaming takes, more like ridiculous expectations. The annoying kind that makes sense coming from a Twitter user. If that makes sense. But the drama you’re referring to, I haven’t seen anything about it. Sounds horrible tho. What’s that all about anyway?
@Leaferson LOL, yeah same here. Building a following on here takes a lot of time & hard work. Which are things I don’t really want to give to Twitter atm. So guess I’ll just keep on screaming into the void on random occasions haha
