@theblockspot This is best case for Shedeur. They’re basically sacrificing Watson. This team will be bad, so if they start Shedeur, and he sucks, fans will want him gone. It’s easier to bench Watson for Shedeur. Not the other way around.
@MichaelFFlorio Because it’s easier to bench Watson for Shedeur at some point in the season. Vs the other way around. It’ll justify cutting Watson at some point because “at least they gave him a shot to be the guy”. They’re basically sacrificing Watson on behalf of Shedeur lol.
@genelilley14 My theory is they need to watch Watson fail so they can bring Sanders in. If they made sanders the starter and he was awful, they would have to bench him for Watson. Much easier to bench Watson for sanders in week 5 haha.
@TheAZsportsfan1 If Kyler succeeds it will just prove our organization is far behind. Hoping it exposes major weakness so we can make some changes. Our new HC is a good start. Monti on the hot seat tho
@humbl3rumbl3@TheAZsportsfan1 The irony that 2 of the 3 players in this graphic aren’t on the teams that drafted them. Great backs on bad teams don’t always pan out. Look at Jeanty from last year
