@KenKirtland17 Cool analysis - only thing is that the $2.8B paid probably also includes the extra payments Boeing got those couple of times. So the $1.4B remaining is probably higher by a few hundo mils.

Either way, you're right in that if this capsule can't come home safe, they're in trouble.
