I'm certainly not the first to note this, but I find in social sector and gov the conversation is often posed as "AI as read/write assistant", which isn't wrong, but one step removed from the frictionless UIs that could greatly improve social services, government workflow, etc.

The breakthrough in LLMs I see people underestimating is that, up until 2023, YOU had to learn every computer's language, even if that "language" was just learning what menu to go to in Word. Now computers speak YOUR language, however imprecise. Less computer therapy needed.
