The whole project is an intellectual dead end. It's a moral crusade that culminates in self-loathing, defeat, and begging for permission to take your own self-interest. You might wonder how such a stupid belief system would ever take root. Well, the answer may surprise you. All of this is a product of the Cold War imperialist proxy warfare between the USA and the USSR. Communists in every country were funneled money, manpower, and moral legitimacy by the Global Left if they adopted some form of Marxism and then aesthetically adapted it to local traditions. The Cold War ended. But all of these stupid belief systems are still floating around as a vestigial cargo cult that goes nowhere.
