Buff the KKK member off the plaque like Benedict Arnold in the Old Cadet Chapel. But a news article title like this is blatantly misrepresenting what the series of plaques is about. West Point by no means endorses the ideology of the KKK and it’s infuriating it’s implied they do.

I preface this by saying by all means take the plaque down. But this is a gross misrepresentation of what the plaque actually is. It’s a series of three bronze plaques representing American history through the Korean War memorializing the men and women who fought in WWII/Korea.
