He then talks about the Skripal poisoning in the same way. We are to believe that as part of the Western plot against Russia, Western governments go around poisoning Putin’s opponents.

Tucker gives no hint of skepticism towards any of this.

As much as we laugh at Tucker sniffing Moscow bread and enjoying the McDonald’s ripoff, the way he and his ilk denigrate and lie about those who at great risk to themselves stand against the Putin regime is the most disgusting thing about them.

I’m sure Tucker isn’t informed enough to know any better. His play acting as a brave dissident is just particularly jarring when contrasted with a man who was the real thing.
