@AlbertT87307630 @KevinMassare I took this more as a defense/vindication of McDermott?
Sort of confirming that his reported criticism of the roster to Beane was true, and that it’s really impressive as he did as well as he did with a bunch of players that apparently no one else wants.
A thought...
DJ Moore is 28. Jaylen Waddle is 27.
Since 2023:
Waddle has 2,668 receiving yards (With Tua)
Moore has 3,012 receiving yards (With Justin Field & Caleb)
Moore is also as durable as they come, not missing a game since 2021, while Waddle has been less durable and has a much higher risk of injury due to his history.
Yet if the Bills did this same trade for Waddle, fans would have an entirely different reaction to that 2nd rounder.
Stop overreacting. DJ Moore is awesome. #BillsMafia
“Hey I have a great idea, let’s start off the coaching search by showing candidates that our owner can’t keep his mouth shut, our GM will deflect responsibility to you for his bad picks, and we’ll blame stuff on you on your way out the door!”
—the @BuffaloBills (apparently)
it’s just a kick in the stomach to have McDermott leave and then your FIRST press conference afterwords is just like “hey wanna see how incompetent and dysfunctional we’re going to be???”
Welcome back to the bad old days.
#BuffaloBills
@GeneSteratore Cooks doesn’t “lose control” to the ground, cooks “loses control” when a 200 lbs DB’s body weight continued a summersault over him and rip the ball out. It could have been a fumble, but because he was already down by contact it should have just been a catch and runner down.
This may go down as the most controversial call of ALL TIME
Brandin Cooks has it, knee hits the ground
McMillan comes up with it afterward
… Broncos ball??
I guess I just don’t understand football anymore.
@BuffaloBills quarterback @JoshAllenQB has won OPOW 18 times….. which ties the total number of such awards won by every quarterback in @nyjets franchise history combined (since the awards inception in 1984).
The Bills' offense is playing like they're scared of their own shadow. This Steelers defense gave up 31 to the Bears a week ago. Unbelievable regression for the Brady bunch.
