I started this the day the Bruins were eliminated in April. I struggled to figure out what story to tell about Year 1 behind the mic at TD Garden, but that story was right in front of me.
Thanks to @samjuan2878 for proofing. Here’s my story.

I will never forget walking to my seat for the first time as a little kid at old Yankee stadium. Grass was so green and it just opened up on you.
Literally felt magical

I don’t really have any words for what John Sterling meant to me. He was truly the soundtrack to my youth - Yanks games on WCBS (and later WFAN) were a staple in the car and before bed as a kid. He helped me fall in love with sports.
There will truly never be another like John.
We are devastated to hear about the passing of John Sterling, a WFAN and Yankees radio icon whose voice was synonymous with an entire generation of Yankee fandom.
Rest in peace, John ❤️
My fourth season with the @NHLBruins has come to an end. What a ride it was.
Thank you to all who have interacted with me this season. Certainly posting a bit less on here these days, but I see all your messages & comments and thank you for the support!
Very grateful 🫡
Having reffed both sports at a very high level, I can tell you that the atmosphere in basketball and dealing with coaches is very different.
It’s all game long, a constant back and forth, and there is a mutual understanding between basketball refs and coaches. It’s part of what makes reffing it so much fun.
I’m happy that Roger Ayers (who always referees games at a Final Four level) handled the end of the game the way that he did.
This was not a confrontational situation. Uconn hit a buzzer beater a few seconds before the viral moment between Ayers and Hurley.
Ayers is telling Hurley that the game isn’t over yet (there was a clock adjustment from 0.02 to 0.04 - which is notable for catch and shoot). Hurley isn’t physically contacting him, he’s just between Ayers and the scorer’s table.
I’ve been in some wild environments/end of game scenarios both in basketball and football. They feel surreal and you are in a state of shock to an extent.
This is how great officials handle these situations, so kudos to Roger Ayers and congrats to UConn.
BREAKING: Boston College is bringing back D1 Men’s Lacrosse 🥍🦅
With this move, the ACC will have six teams and an automatic qualifier in the NCAA Tournament in 2027.
Let me get this straight:
Hartford and Boston-based groups both offer $325 million to keep the team here
WNBA says “no thanks, we’ll go to Houston for less”
Houston should have a team. They should not have ours.
What are we doing here?
BREAKING: The Connecticut Sun is being sold to the Fertitta family to bring the WNBA back to Houston, sources confirmed to ESPN
The team was sold for $300 million, sources said. Team will play final season in CT in '26 before relocation.
The Comets are back.
The #NHLBruins have announced that James Hagens will sign an AHL amateur tryout agreement (ATO) and report to the Providence Bruins.

Bryan Hodgson is a tremendous fit for Providence. Has earned everything, brings rich energy that will match that fanbase & is 70-37 as a HC after taking USF to the big dance in just a year. Also, an inspiring story of fighting through adversity from a young age. Love the hire.
Phil Martelli Jr. has gone from losing to Michigan State with Bryant to beating North Carolina with VCU. Quite a turn of events in a year.
Heck of a young coach. Has a chance to be special.
The Rams flying the Atlantic 10 flag into the Round of 32.
There truly is no better than @pmjr10. This was exactly how he treated everybody when he got to Bryant in 2018 - me as a brand new announcer included. This is very simply a guy who just gets it. Couldn’t be more pumped for Coach & VCU!
Really cool moment tonight postgame after VCU upset UNC. VCU head coach Phil Martelli Jr. made a point to shoutout the student reporters that made the trip.
Lots of great stuff this time of year, but this was a really awesome, genuine exchange.
