Grateful to the @WSJopinion for publishing my letter. Tax hike schemes in the Beltway and along the coasts are understandably capturing a lot of attention, but Colorado could be ground zero for one of the biggest tax and spending overhauls in the country this year. #copolitics
i think we're seeing the breaking down of the "affordability as climate" skinsuit gambit that a lot of climate groups tried to run after november, 2024 https://t.co/1RG3VsKcLr

News: Trump plans to drop the weaponization fund, per a source.
The conversation between Speaker Mike Johnson and Trump earlier today helped convince the president to drop the weaponization fund, source added
The fund received significant backlash from Hill Republicans and a number of House Republicans were looking for ways to stop this fund from happening.
Story TK.
Worthwhile read, particularly for the history of industry vs. regulatory-state fights over O&G in Colorado. Definitely some parallels w/ the burgeoning conflict over data centers.
Former DougCo GOP chair Craig Steiner has been elected chairman of the Colorado Republican Party on the second ballot.
Steiner has pledged to stop GOP infighting/lawsuits and focus on rebuilding the "essentially nonexistent" state party.
