@DariusDTT I mean, I get that it wasn't totally random, but the districts should have been renumbered so that SD-7 stayed in South GA. It makes it much easier to search districts when districts are numbered more or less consecutively.

Georgia might be the worst state in America for numbering its legislative districts. Consider the first 8 state senate seats.

GA SD 1-4: Savannah, GA Coast
GA SD 5: Central & West Gwinnett
GA SD 6: West metro ATL
GA SD 7: Back in Gwinnett
GA SD 8: Southeast GA again
