Today marks one year since I step foot into my PhD program and had a big personal win in lab today. It feels correct. #LetsGoYear2

Went to the gym this morning & my coach asked what I was doing last night. When I told him about my research in an evolution lab he said “oh you bad that’s cool.” So my fellow evolutionary biologists, and all other types of biologists for that matter, my coach thinks you’re cool.

I am excited to share that I have been awarded a @USDA_NIFA predoctoral fellowship! This grant will support my research @ukybiology into the genetic and developmental basis of adaptive ovipositor traits. Stay tuned for some big things to come!
