Curtis Jones is a target for Nottingham Forest.
Liverpool aware of the Forest interest as Vitor Pereira’s side look to strengthen in the centre of the park following the £116m departure of Elliot Anderson.
Inter recently saw a £21.5m approach instantly shut down.
Liverpool value Jones in the region of £40m, and it is unclear whether Forest are prepared to go that high.
Liverpool are content to keep hold of Jones if their asking price is not met.
Jones is heading into the final year of his contract but should he remain beyond this summer, talks over a new contract are not ruled out.
Forest also have Spurs’ Lucas Bergvall high in their thinking. The Swedish midfielder has asked the club to leave as he seeks a new challenge.🌳
Heads on mars , how could you possibly have watched football the last 24 months for a living and pick Spence , Henderson and madueke over Bowen Gibbs white and hall ? #nffc#england#whufc#nufc
Expected but still hurts #nffc , back up players just aren’t good enough unfortunately , one random game against Chelsea doesn’t change that , missing that mgw Sangare Murillo ola spine far too much , embarrassing performance
Honestly anyone who doesn’t think Sangare is a top 3 most important player this season for all the stuff on and off the ball , and how we play would absolutely baffle me , we are so much worse without him in the side #nffc
I always think the Sangare test is the acid test when it comes to ball knowledge and the different roles that differing players are required for.
Make no mistake, if we are without Sangare, then it is beyond catastrophic for our chances of reaching the final.
He is such an important cog in that midfield. He’s a calming presence, has great vision and is the one player that can slow the game down when required.
Some will still hate but he is imperative to us. #NFFC
