I had someone tell me today that I’m so much nicer then the last IT guy here. What did I do that was special? Let me know the user rant. She wasn’t mad at me, just mad at the situation. The fix was a quick reboot. I left her with a little education and a big smile.
It’s Monday and the first email of the day states, “ Can you come look at our printer, it’s going in and out.” Sure I can! I love dealing with acting up printers first thing on a Monday!

It’s never to early to start planning, right? With this being my first year in IT, I’m thinking about who I might want to dress up as for Halloween since supposedly they do a fun office party. I’m looking for someone/something IT related. Give me your best idea!!
My wife told me that she gets frustrated with my uncanny IT ability to fix most things by just getting near them. I hear the same thing from the users at work. I love being the IT guy that helps everyone!
