Legendary actor, sir Patrick Stewart has reportedly completely retired from acting 🫡
Sir Patrick Stewart is reportedly set to make Avengers: Doomsday his final acting role, with his return as Charles Xavier possibly marking the end of one of the most respected screen careers in modern pop culture.
Marvel and Disney have already listed Stewart among the cast for Avengers: Doomsday, alongside several returning X-Men names including Ian McKellen, James Marsden, Alan Cumming, Rebecca Romijn, and Kelsey Grammer. The film is currently set to hit theaters on December 18, 2026.
Stewart first played Professor X in 2000’s X-Men, helping define the character for an entire generation of superhero fans. Before that, he had already become a television icon as Captain Jean-Luc Picard in Star Trek: The Next Generation.
