At 21, Ryan Peake was both a promising up-and-coming golfer and a member of an outlawed motorcycle gang in Australia.

After being convicted of assault and spending five years in prison, he made his way back to golf and secured his Australasian tour card this season.

Today, he won the New Zealand Open to qualify for the Open Championship.

“Just changed my life. This is what I do, I want to be here and just play golf. The story is what it is, but I’m just out here playing golf,” said Peake after his win at Millbrook Resort.

A new pace of play policy is being implemented for the LPGA Tour and the Epson Tour.

It will take effect for the LPGA starting at the Ford Championship in March and for the Epson Tour starting at the IOA Championship in April.
