@bankofengland Thank you. How do I complain to prudential regulation? There didn’t seem to be any regulation of insurance companies pricing. They do as they please. Raise premiums in a cartel fashion - talk risk - make millions in profit.
@bankofengland
How is it that Direct Line have made a profit of £244 million last year - I have years of no claims, no points, no convictions - I am 42 -my insurance has gone up by £300. Now more than I paid at 17. You say risk. I say profit, cartels and no regulation from BofE
OFSTED 1: inspector sits next to the only student in a hijab, asks her if I have taught them about radicalisation. OFSTED 2: inspector stops me teaching Yr7, asks me to point out the disadvantaged students. OFSTED 3: inspector tells me I’m not allowed to ask what her subject is.
@MissT1302 You can only do the best that you can do with what you have and you can physically do no more. This is scientifically watertight. This is the same for everyone. Stressing about that won’t change it. No one can ask you to do more. You are also not solely responsible for…
@londonteacher_ Love and cherish it. If it’s a genuine thing that happened or if they think writing that is funny they are sharing their humour. Which is a response to the question.

@WhistleblowingT How do you know he made a report to the TRA? If they contacted you and you have this email from the head make a complaint to the board of governors/trust board or LA. Harrasment and professional conduct by the head teacher. I have seen this done successful by an ex staff member
@WhistleblowingT Whistle blow, complain to LADO. If you feel unsafe as a teacher then the children feel unsafe and their is a duty to put a stop to this. It happens in too many schools.
I am HOS in Kent and on top of finding recruitment of TAs difficult, the slow DBS turnaround is crippling us even further. Is this a common issue? Do any schools use the DBS online service to help with this? What are the issues with using this system?
Accountability/responsibility in education is often applied in this order (top being the most):
Teacher
Parent
Student
It should go:
Student
Parent
Teacher
And until we sort that, many of the problems we have will continue to worsen IMO.
The years of early childhood are unique and consequential in and of themselves… not just preparation for something more important to come. Failure to honor the developmental needs of young children will never be a path to better outcomes.
The unspoken and hidden crisis facing Education and schools is parenting.
We desperately need much more support for our families and we just can’t do it all.
