Judged by many for his 2 performances after 2 months off due to injury. The standards are insanely high and rightly so. I have no doubt that Lamine will rise to the occasion again.
This is what great players do. Against all odds, they shine time and time again.
Lamine Yamal 🌟
@Ray_RMCF Context matters my friend but I know you’re anti-Lamine won’t understand that coming off an injury that kept him out for 2 months, he actually over-performed. In the end one way or another you’ll learn why he is rated highly. Just wait ⏳
Couldn’t care less that Barca players don’t have as much G/A as RM players because what matters is how we play as a collective. RM’s last two seasons embodied “too many cooks in the kitchen” and egos tryna be the main man of their team.
@AnabellaMarvy I don’t particularly like Gordon based on my own perceptions of his game but I’ll admit he is probably going to be more coachable than Rashford at his age because he will likely be open to changing his game to adapt to Hansi’s needs. Hoping he cooks and proves us wrong.
@NealGardner_ Neal the truth is practically all AFCON teams were leading for 75% of the game then gave up goals in the later part of the game in a similar fashion. Once an anomaly, three times a pattern.
@wamal_x That said, the practical thing about depth is that the quality drop off has been too steep and so Hansi doesnt rotate.
We need more depth rotations like Olmo/Fermin who are practically at the same level.
@wamal_x Well said… it’s all good for us to be in top form from Aug - Feb but unfortunately we have consistently arrived in Mar/Apr injured or fatigue because of the type of high intensity football we play.
@ATL_Madridfan Context matters, but I understand you have a narrative to push. Yes he played with Lewa who was sharp in Lamine’s first full season and fell off massively. If Lamine plays with Kane and Mbappe, he gets automatic assists.
@RkFutbol Yes, yes ofc Madridistas conveniently forget the 3 year Mbappe transfer saga w/ Perez, RM & PSG.
Very respectful and graceful that was 😅

Florentino Pérez tells @elchiringuitotv: "I've never said it's over between Mbappé and Real Madrid forever. I never said that. In 3 years, many things can change". ⚪️🇫🇷 #Mbappé
"But I don't want this Mbappé. The last one is not the same Kylian we wanted. I wanted the real one".
@fcbosei@AnabellaMarvy Hansi's system requires depth. That's why it's widely said his second seasons are worse. We barely made it through the second season because it takes a toll on all the players. Not blaming Hansi btw, just saying we need depth signings and more tactical flexibility from Hansi
@Uodinas People are talking about stats in that regard not “winning” anything. Ofc Olise will have more assists if he feeds Kane/Mbappe who score a lot of goals, no matter who assists them, meanwhile Ferran misses sitters. It’s just stats we’re talking about.
@ythumour@fuadyabz23 🤣 so isn’t that why 2 seasons ago he ended being #2 in b’dor, because he had fit Raphina and a sharp Lewa? And where was Olise then?
Now Yamal him feeding players this last season like Mbappe or Kane, automatic assists, it’s not hard when you have guys who can score low xG opps
@tonylamm1@MusialaEra Being a moments footballer is not a diss to Mbappe. He will always do well but won’t necessarily elevate his team. That’s just the difference.
