- July 14 🇭🇷 || Croatian club KK Dubrovnik, located just off the coast of the Adriatic Sea in Southeastern Europe, recently announced 27 year old Jamari Wheeler (OSU 2021-2022).

Jamari is coming off an extensive hoop run/tour in Mexico & is slated to compete with the #1 seed Happy Valley Hoopers in TBT's James Madison Region tomorrow. The versatile combo guard returns to the Adriatic region where he played for BC Prievidza (Slovakia) in his rookie pro season. That was a year before CJ Jackson (2016-2019) would start a two year stint w/ Prievidza along with fellow Buckeye Marc Loving (OSU 2013-2017) joining the club in 2024-2025 (a lot of six degrees of separation connections in Pro Hoops)

🇲🇽 Mexico - LBE Playoff Semis GM Three (3/23/25) Apaches 138 at Pioneros 100 || Apaches Advances to LBE Finals

- Jamari Wheeler - 17 Points (5 of 5 from 3!) 9 Assists, 3 Rebounds, 2 Steals
- Jimond Ivery - 17 Points, 8 Rebounds, 8 Assists

Top Ranked Apaches Chihuaua advanced to the LBE Playoff Finals after defeating Pioneros on Sunday 3/23. The clean sweep of Pioneros in the Semis brought Apache's overall playoff record to 6-0.

Once again the opposition couldn't do anything with the American tandem of Jamari Wheeler (@Jamariwheeler5) & Jimond Ivey (@JimondIvey). Both accounted for 17 points each with Ivey posting another near triple-double & Wheeler going a perfect five of five from three & dishing out 9 assists !

🏀Winning Time - Jamar Wheeler (OSU 2021-2022) is looking for another league championship in Mexico with teammate Jimond Ivey (Former Akron Zip) & club Apaches. Mexico has been a second hoops home of sorts for Wheeler who has competed in three different leagues in the country's pro circuit within the last 365.

- Wheeler & Ivey won the 2024 CIBACOPA Championship together last Summer with Rayos de Hermosillo. That league, primarily comprised of pacific coast clubs, ran from early March to late June 2024 (Ivey won Finals MVP).

- They only had a few weeks of rest before joining club Freseros Irapuato for a stint in the LNBP which is reputed to be the top basketball league in Mexico. Their LNBP season began in July & concluded after Playoff Quarterfinals elimination in late October.

- The league they are currently competing in (LBE) features participating clubs from the Chihuahua State in Northwestern Mexico. Season started on January 17. Apaches finished the regular season with a 14-2 record, good for first place.
