Members of the public are advised to verify before trusting, never make payments based on unsolicited requests, and report suspicious activity through the appropriate channels.
There is no safe haven for fraudsters.

JAMB, in collaboration with the Nigeria Police Force, has apprehended a suspect allegedly involved in impersonating the Registrar, Prof. Segun Aina, to defraud unsuspecting members of the public.
The suspect was apprehended in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, following an intelligence-led investigation into the fraudulent use of the Registrar’s identity across social media and other platforms.
JAMB reiterates that the Registrar has not authorised anyone to solicit money, secure contracts, facilitate admissions or examinations, or demand gratification on his behalf.
Fostering Strategic Collaborations
As part of ongoing efforts to strengthen institutional partnerships and drive improved service delivery, the Registrar, Prof. Segun Aina, @profsegunaina, held discussions with the e-Assessment Association (eAA) on areas of strategic partnership and explored opportunities for stronger institutional collaboration with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) @inecnigeria.
These engagements reinforce JAMB's commitment to building a stronger institution, fostering meaningful partnerships, and delivering better outcomes.

Government works better when government talks to government.
I was pleased to welcome the Director-General of @officialnyscng, Brig. Gen. Olakunle Nafiu, and his team for a productive conversation on how FME and NYSC can work more closely to solve some of the real challenges facing our students and graduates.
A genuine graduate should not be held back because of a name mismatch, incomplete record or verification issue. We are therefore working towards better integration between NYSC, NERD and NEDI, including API integration to make graduate verification faster and more seamless.
We have also fully digitised our Education Support Services (ESS), including certificate verification and services for foreign applicants. I encourage students and graduates to familiarise themselves with the platform and ensure their documents and records are in order. Visit https://t.co/Vu4KQAta8B
We are also working with NYSC, JAMB, NIMC and NBTE to resolve issues around name discrepancies and graduate mobilisation, while developing a unique Learner Identification Number to better connect learner records across all our systems.
The goal is simple: protect genuine graduates, make verification easier and shut the door on certificate racketeering.
This is our One Government approach in action as we deliver President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR’s Renewed Hope Agenda for Education.

I had the privilege of paying homage to the revered Royal Fathers in Bwari, Abuja where our JAMB Headquarters is situated.
As we work to build a better future for our young people, we must continue to recognise and engage the traditional institutions that remain important pillars of our society.
I salute our Royal Fathers and appreciate their warm reception, wisdom and service to the people.
