Steven McLean didn’t give a penalty here because there was only one camera angle. There wasn’t a view that showed a ‘better contact point’.
A few days later…..
John Beaton, Motherwell v Celtic, also had one camera angle. He looked at the incident for 20 seconds and gave the penalty.
Someone please make it make sense?
Words fail me.
#Hearts #Penalty
Somewhere out there Mr Romanov is quietly smiling, knowing full well he was absolutely spot on about the officials in this country. He was vilified and hounded by the press, along with the SFA, for stating the obvious.
Its a racket. He was right then and he's right now.
Touched a few nerves eh.
If these positions were reversed and Hearts were champions due to blatant cheating they’d all be fucking burning buildings down. 😂
We all know.
Btw Hearts weren't just robbed out a league title they were robbed out of when you look at the possible opponents a 50/50 crack at least of the chance of making the CL and 40 million quid
Pitch invasion at Ibrox.
Pitch invasion at Motherwell.
Pitch invasion and attacking Hearts players at Parkhead.
All done by the supporters of one club.
@ScottishFA still waiting on that final whistle… If you can get Steven McLean to get his VARtic top off long enough to blow it and call the game abandoned, as the majority of the nation knows happened, that would be great…
That’s Steven McLean done.
Has to be.
Boy on VAR has done brilliantly to get him to stop the game whilst the ball is in-play and clearly shows him where the contact is.
Ridiculous and incredible decision.
It’s only right to say that Hearts had some terrible decisions go their way and Celtic had some terrible ones go against them but everything about the Kyziridis and Nicholson incidents is even wilder now that we’ve heard the ‘communication’ and Willie Collum’s ‘explanation’.
There isn’t being enough made about this.
Martin O’Neill was given a 1-2-1 with referee chief Willie Collum, that nobody else seems to have been afforded.
Then in the week after it, 7 key decisions were wrong which gifted Celtic the title.
Hearts should be all over this.
Decisions went for/against hearts & Celtic throughout the season.
However in the last 4 games involving hearts or Celtic, every single contentious decision went in favour of Celtic. Days after Celtic officials meeting with the head of referees.
Thats more than a coincidence
Hearts should've had a pen away to killie at 0-0 - hearts went on to lose game
Hearts should've had pens against Motherwell- game ended in a draw
The hibs reds & trustys red were reds and we should've had a pen in the celtic DRAW too. Not the gotcha you think it is.
