@tom550993@autocar “Museum-grade minimalism” was delicious. This is a wider trend with luxury goods I assuming stemming from the fashion/lux industry, as with all trends will not last forever and be replaced.
@adrianfclarke@MarathonTheGame It certainly was around that price. I think Killer Instinct was similar as I remember the trip to Toys R Us to buy it, even at the time I thought it was a lot for 1 game + how many others I could buy in its place.
Star Wars making the central figure of their new movie a 50yo baby constitutionally incapable of growing up is a little bit on the nose as critique of their fans
my friend just admitted to me that he’s a massive star wars fan and has seen every show and movie except the original trilogy. how does this even happen
@adrianfclarke It’s like a car for a car insurance advert where they have to remove any semblance of brand recognition and do this by modifying it (badly). It has no good angles, it’s ungainly and uncomfortable in its own skin. Worse on the 2000’s tuner wheels
The absolute worst part of stopping for gas on a road trip is having to get back on the highway and deal with all the fucking idiots you passed 40miles ago
