We ask the Government to legislate for a statutory 6 months time limit for completing police misconduct investigations.
Where cases cannot reasonably be concluded within 6 months, extensions should require approval from an independent authority… https://t.co/SAfaxR37kZ
@MPFed That’s why this petition is so important, can you please share this and sign it for me as it will make a huge difference. I’m also speaking to my MP about it on Thursday. It’s the first steps towards change

@EFLHarry I like this… Carlisle have developed Trafford and Henderson until they were ripped away from us by the EPPP… but you’re talking about league 2 and not the national league so this is just useful information for now
@Brick_Cop@ukhomeoffice Could you possibly share this petition with your followers please, it would mean a lot to me and others across the platform. Thank you

@DrRebeccaTidy Expeditiously is a word used heavily with investigations… obtaining some things like blood results or phone data from providers can take a long time but shouldn’t take more than 6 months so I agree with you for minor things
@PeoplesPortalUK@DannyShawNews You know you can contact the IOPC and send your complaint straight to them… I’ve done it before and they are very good at what they do. Mine reduces the timeframe for petty investigations and reduces the amount of taxpayers money wasted on baseless hearings.
After researching over 244 police officer deaths over 10 years whilst under PSD investigations lasting up to and over 3 years… I have created this petition to change a broken system. PSD need to be accountable for their actions. #police#petition
