When my son turned 16, I took him to drive the day before his test. He turned the wrong way on a quiet little one way for a few yards, stopped, and turned into a parking lot. A police officer saw it and wrote him a ticket. Even after hearing that we were practicing with a driver permit. I’ll never forget that.
