These laws don’t protect anyone they actually do more harm because they increase the chances of identity theft and doxxing . No one wants these laws and these laws aren’t needed they are trying to use the lie protecting kids to usher in Digital ID.
@Pirat_Nation They want to know who you're talking to. They want to know what you're talking about. They want to know where you are and what you look like. They want to decide what you can play and for how long. And that's just the beginning...
@SnoweyVR Yeah, but that's different. In Power Washing Simulator, you're just power washing inanimate objects, which is fine, but a SFW version of Drag'n Wash would be like debasing the Dragon to the level of an inanimate object, which in my opinion, would be worse than actual PWS.
🚨 SONY, YOU'RE FULL OF SH#T!
HERE’S THE PART THAT MAKES THIS WHOLE DIGITAL “PURCHASE” ARGUMENT LOOK RIDICULOUS.
If I walk into a store and buy a $1,500 NVIDIA GPU, I pay for it, take it home, install it in my PC, and that graphics card belongs to me.
NVIDIA still owns the technology behind it. They own the patents. They own their software. They own their trademarks.
But they do not own the GPU sitting inside my house.
They cannot come back three years later because I didn’t use my PC enough and say, “Sorry Man, your access to that graphics card has been revoked.”
They cannot remotely remove it from my case because their Terms of Service changed.
They cannot tell me I misunderstood the words “buy and purchase"
I paid for the product. I own the product.
So why has gaming somehow convinced itself that paying $70 or $80 tp $100 for a game should mean something completely different?
I’m not asking to own Sony’s intellectual property. I’m not asking to own Naughty Dog, Bungie, the source code, the servers, or the PlayStation brand.
I am saying the license I paid for should belong to me in perpetuity.
That is the digital equivalent of owning the GPU in my PC.
Sell me the license. Tie it to my account. Let me download it again. Let me keep using it as long as the software and hardware can run it.
But don’t take my money under a button that says BUY or PURCHASE and then hide behind legal language that says I never really bought anything.
If the industry wants to sell temporary permission, call it temporary permission.
If you call it a purchase, then the consumer should walk away owning something meaningful.
That is where this fight needs to go next.
Digital isn’t the problem.
Ownership is.
Kudos to @G27Status for continuing to put these issues in front of gamers and forcing people to actually think about what we are paying for.

@ILikeWarThunder@KesuraFurr Canonically, they age much faster than humans. It's like dog years VS. human years, or cat years VS. human years, etc. You cannot logically apply human age to a creature that matures at a much faster rate. Like you said, 10 years old is an adult age for an Expie. Adult is adult.
