@victor_otegz I saw the movie today! My God. What a great movie, we prayed in the cinema where I watched (Hybrid Heights). Everyone killed their roles, God bless Daddy Mike Bamiloye, God bless @DamilolabMikeBamiloye, @JoshuaMikeBamiloye,@PhilipOlubakin.
Just because modern gospel music trends in the club doesn't mean Jesus is becoming famous.
Just because modern gospel movies trend at the box office doesn't mean Christianity is winning.
Just because modern "apostolic sermons" are enjoyed by the ungodly doesn't mean the church is prevailing.
Sometimes, it may just be that we have lost our Convicting power and are no more than religious entertainers.
@BukkyOA@oreoluwa The other day I saw a DM from someone saying he wants to marry her, if you have followed her long enough you would have known she's married and she's a Christian. Solid Woma
@BukkyOA For those on X thinking and saying @Oreoluwa Bukola just wants to be popular by force. Please go to LinkedIn and follow her, I have done that for years now. As a young professional you won't regret it. She's big on LinkedIn.
Nigerian billionaire business man and industrialist Dr Cosmos Maduka seen preaching the gospel of Christ in lagos Nigeria. It is beautiful to extremely rich people like him preaching the gospel.
Nigeria has 20 "Christian governors" in Nigeria's 36 states.
Some of them are ushers in churches.
Some are Revd Fathers.
Some are "Kingdom financiers"
And many of them give testimonies and do Thanksgiving charity for their churches.
I emphatically insist that we don't need more conversations about Kingdom takeover and strategic positioning.
We seem to have already taken over.
What we need is accurate discipleship.
The kind that doesn't show partiality or drop the standards when celebrities and wealthy people are involved.
What we need is self-denial.
The kind that will prefer to be perceived as a failure for Christ to be seen rather than to win for the flaunting of the flesh.
What we need is a redefining of Christianity.
The kind that restores what being in Christ and living for Christ really means so that the One who died for us will find expression through our lives.
We have already taken over.
We have already won.
We have already conquered.
Now, can you allow Jesus to win, take over and conquer?
I was at the barbershop the other day, and I became miserable at the filthy music videos that dominate the modern music industry.
I had to rescue my little son from the sodomic atmosphere while I endured the evil entertainment until it was my turn to have my haircut.
But it also occurred to me how much negative influence can be exerted upon young, innocent boys just by creating an environment of vulgar speech and lewd music.
Perhaps if we had more "Christian barbers" who would not allow their offices to be a recruiting centre for immoral sexuality and ungodly interactions, then many young men could find God and learn godliness by Christian barbers simply using their spaces as a platform to showcase the light and truth of Christian virtues of excellent, diligent labour.
Unfortunately, many Christians think they are only influential through mountains of finance, politics and other big spheres,
Meanwhile, God may do so much more with Faithful Christian mechanics, maids, barbers, and other seemingly insignificant "valleys" of influence.
Hopefully, we learn to let God's light shine through us whether on the mountain or in the valleys.
Why do people get so pressured. Why you go carry food and fancy plates enter Eatery, you wan chop for there, what happened to eating in your own house. Now security has embarrassed you and your friends. Women! Chai!
@arojinle1 One particular day, they changed the caption to "Da ile sibi ko dara won". That was the end of dumping refuse on and around the burial site.
@arojinle1 So, someone told me a story last year. People would come from all over to dump their refuse at a particular burial site. It was a big mess for the community, people staying around put all the "Captions/words" in this tweet on the site but it didn't still stop
Jesus died at 33. The human spine has 33 vertebrae. The same structure that holds us up is the same number of years He held this Earth.
We have 12 ribs on each side. 12 disciples. 12 tribes of Israel. God built His design into our bones. He wrote Heaven into our anatomy.
The vagus nerve runs from your brain to your heart and gut. It calms storms inside the body. It looks just like a cross. That’s the power source running through us. Every time your body heals, every time your heart slows in prayer, every time peace shows up when it shouldn’t…that’s Him.
Jesus rose on the third day. Science tells us that when you fast for 3 days, your body starts regenerating. Old cells die. New ones are born. Healing begins. Your body literally resurrects itself. That’s not coincidence. That’s design.
And it keeps going.
Your heart has an electrical rhythm. Your brain lights up when you pray. Tears contain different chemicals depending on if you're crying from joy or grief. The blood speaks. The bones store memory. The body worships whether you realize it or not.
We are fearfully and wonderfully made. We are walking prophecy. Walking tabernacles. Dust and divinity in one.
God didn’t just create you. He carved Himself into you.
You don’t need to look far to find Him. You just need to look inward. He’s been in the design since the beginning.
