*tv commercial about sliced bread*
My grandmother:I remember when they came out with sliced bread
Me: yeah?
Grandmother: yeah
Me: ...how was it
Grandmother: it was alright
Me: that’s good
Sources: President Trump, commerce secretary Howard Lutnick, and White House task force head Andrew Giuliani put together a team of elite lawyers — from outside the government — to challenge the Flo Balogun red card. Specifically they challenged the use of slow motion instant replay to give the red card, which they argued violated FIFA rules. The president also conveyed to Gianni Infantino, FIFA’s president, that the appeal had been filed and he believed the red card penalty was excessive. FIFA’s independent committee reviewed the decision and agreed the penalty was incorrectly given, rescinding it under their rule 27 authority.
The way soccer players roll around and grimace like they got shot by a white male potentially trans sniper that has no internet footprint or evidence of ever even existing as a human but the media creates a narrative for the person with all sorts of details that appear out of thin air depending on what their agenda is will never cease to amaze me lol. This World Cup has been awesome and I respect the talent in the tournament but the theatrics are just annoying. I guess that’s the culture of the sport though and I can’t look past it. Acting like Rittenhouse picked you off after barely getting touched lol
After reaching out to my contact in Edmonton who knows a thing or three about negotiations i can say that while there were several conversations between Edmonton and Boston about Nurse, nothing ever got to the point where anyone other than Nurse was asked to waive their trade protection.
The 2026 offseason was absolutely legendary

@dominictiano I agree. It makes no sense that it would be Zadorov. He’s been great (pims aside) and fits with the identity sweeny and co are trying to build. On top of his strong leadership and love in the room, I would be shocked if it was he who was asked
@EamonnMcLean44 I’d be fine with both players but don’t love the term on Trouboid. Though, if I does not hav movement protection (but it will) I’d have no problem.
I’m just saying, if I’m the Boston Bruins I would be frothing at a potential centre line up of Hagens - McTavish - Poitras - Minten within the next 2 years
