6:45 AM (Thursday pre-market, 10/15 map): This is the most fragile map I've seen this week. QQQ and $SPY are both sitting on negative kings inside short gamma, while ES still has a cushion. Column order is QQQ, SPY, ES, and the timestamps suggest live pre-market prints, so liquidity is thin.
$QQQ (720.05, -1.22%)
King 720 is negative (-$946M), and spot is on it.
Every strike in the visible window (731 to 710) is short gamma. 717 (-$849M), 725 (-$504M), 715 (-$482M), and 716 (-$467M) are the heaviest, and 730 (-$384M) is the nearest overhead. This week's earlier maps had positive walls at 750 and 760, and nothing like that shows here.
With no cushion in either direction, moves can run both ways.
SPY (767.03, -0.33%)
King 765 is negative (-$1.57B), 2 points below spot. It's a downside magnet.
Short gamma runs from 777 down through 757. The heavy cells are 772 (-$882M), 768 (-$631M), 767 (-$545M), 766 (-$543M), and 760 (-$591M).
The only positive cell is 775 ($45M), which is too small to act as a wall.
ES (7,779.3, -0.33%)
ES is the calm one. 7780 ($1.24B) is spot's cell, with 7775, 7770, and 7765 adding $495M to $773M each. That's a real floor down to 7760.
King 7825 ($2.05B) is 46 points up, with a stack of positive walls above spot: 7800 ($1.80B), 7810 ($1.67B), and 7820 ($1.68B).
Air pocket: It starts at 7755 and gets real at 7750 (-$650M), 7740 (-$503M), and 7725 (-$656M).
The ES and ETF maps disagree. ES looks long-gamma while SPY and QQQ are short, so I'd trust the ETF maps for QQQ and SPY movesPlan
Bear: QQQ below 720 opens 717 to 715. SPY below 765 opens 764 to 760. ES below 7760 opens 7750.
Bounce: QQQ reclaiming 725 to 730 and SPY reclaiming 772 to 775 still pass through short gamma, so bounces will be jumpy. ES needs 7800 as its first real wall.
Caution: Pre-market gamma is thin, and 0DTE flow reshuffles this at 9:30. Short gamma on a negative king means wide ranges both ways, so size accordingly.
Bullish Gamma Squeeze Scenario:
Trigger: SPY prints a sustained 15-minute close above $780.00 while QQQ reclaims $746.00.
Targets: SPY pushes through the green long-gamma wall toward $782.00 → $785.00, pulling SPX toward its 7,850 King Node.
Invalidation: $SPY drops back below $777.00 (-$275.87M short gamma zone).
Bearish Dealer Acceleration Scenario:
Trigger: QQQ breaks and holds below the $740.00 King Node.
Targets: Automated dealer short-hedging accelerates QQQ through $738.00 toward $735.00, dragging SPY down through its short gamma pocket ($772–$777) toward $772.00.
Invalidation: $QQQ reclaims $746.00.

Institutional Bellwether: AeroVironment $AVAV
The Thesis: As the recognized benchmark in tactical uncrewed aircraft systems (UAS), AVAV combines pure-play defense exposure with deep military integration. Following broad sector valuation compression earlier in the year, the stock trades at a deep discount relative to its historical highs while maintaining a robust funded backlog exceeding $1.5 billion.
Technical & Flow Perspective: High daily liquidity and institutional sponsorship make AVAV the cleanest vehicle for structured options strategies and multi-timeframe swing setups, particularly when looking for volume breakout confirmation off major support levels.
2. High-Beta Small-Cap Momentum: Red Cat Holdings (RCAT)
The Thesis: For aggressive upside alpha, $RCAT offers pure tactical reconnaissance exposure through its Teal Drones subsidiary. Its full pivot toward defense applications and expanding military procurement requirements make it exceptionally sensitive to sector-wide catalysts and headline momentum.
Technical & Flow Perspective: Characterized by wide intraday ranges and high retail/institutional rotational flow, it provides superior leverage for short-term directional positioning during volume expansion phases.
3. Autonomous Systems & Heavy Defense: Kratos Defense & Security (KTOS)
The Thesis: $KTOS anchors the heavy autonomous systems category, benefiting directly from the Pentagon’s drone dominance initiatives via platforms like the XQ-58A Valkyrie. Backed by multi-billion-dollar pipelines, it bridges traditional aerospace stability with high-growth autonomous technology.
Summary Verdict
For Clean Structural Swing & Options Liquidity: AVAV remains the premier institutional play with a solid fundamental safety net.
For High-Beta Momentum & Relative Strength Breakouts: RCAT provides the sharpest tactical setup for explosive percentage moves on volume surges.
Drift and pin. Spxholds 7800-7810 toward 7825, $SPY chops 779-780 under the 785 king, QQQ works between 744 and 750.
Bear: SPY below 779 opens 777, then the 774-772 pocket. $QQQ below 744 opens 742, then 740. Spx below 7800 needs 7785 first, and the real hole is 7775.
Bull: QQQ reclaiming 747 pulls toward the 750 king. SPY clearing 781 meets a thin 782-784 before 785. ES above 7825 targets 7850.
Caution: spx is the only live market, and 0DTE flow reshuffles this at 9:30. Re-check the levels at the open.
8:00 AM (Tuesday pre-market, $949.33): $MU dropped another ~2.7% from Monday's 975.20 close and is now sitting on the 950 king. Net gamma deepened to -$677M, from -$177M last night. That's about 7.7% below Sunday's 1,028 and 13% below the 1,088 close from last week.
The structure
King 950 is negative. It's -$55.8M on 10/14 and -$82.6M on 10/16, and also the put level, so spot is sitting on the magnet.
Short gamma covers 1000 down to 930. Above spot, 960 (-$40M on 10/16), 970 (-$24M), and 980 (-$25M) are heavy. Below spot, 945 (-$18M) and 940 (-$60.5M on 10/16) are heavy too.
First positive cells are 925 and 920, but small (+$65K to +$1.45M). The first sizable cushion is 900 (+$8.4M on 10/16).
Vanna is positive at 930 to 945 (+$63M at 940, +$21M at 930 on 10/16). That's the best argument for a bounce, since vanna can support price if volatility compresses. 900 flips to -$35M vanna, so it's less reliable.
Upside
A bounce runs into short gamma at 955 to 980, so moves are fast and jumpy. Each strike is a place sellers can reload.
AVWAP is 990.07, which is 40 points up, and it's the real reclaim level.
Chart: Price is far under AVWAP after the steep drop from 1,100. A hidden bullish divergence (hDIV ↑) and reversal-up markers sit near the lows, with DIV 3↑ 5↓. That's a possible base, but it isn't confirmed.
Plan
Pivot: 950, with 940 as the first line below.
Bounce: Reclaim 960 and 970 targets 980. Expect jumpy moves, and 990 AVWAP is a stretch.
Bear: Below 940, expect acceleration through 935 and 930. Below 925, the 900 cushion is the next reference.
Wait for the open: This is a pre-market print on thin liquidity, so let the first 15 to 30 minutes confirm direction. #gex #options #daytrader #stocks #micronstock
$SNDK at 1,420 (about -4.5% from 1,487): The move I flagged played out. The 1,470 loss led through 1,460 to 1,440 and into 1,420, which was the heaviest short-gamma cell on the map (-$23.5M on 10/16). Spot is now sitting on the biggest hole, and the 1,400 king is only 20 points below. I'm working from the 7:52 AM grids, not a fresh screenshot, so the exact cell values may have shifted.
Downside
The 1,400 negative king (-$79.7M) is now the magnet. It's also the put wall, and vanna there is hugely positive on 10/16 (+$108M).
Between spot and the king: 1,415 (-$3.0M), 1,410 (-$2.9M), and 1,405 (-$1.8M) are all short gamma, so there's nothing to slow a slide.
Below the king: 1,395 (-$2.1M) and 1,390 (-$5.9M) are also negative. A break of 1,400 has little under it in the visible grid.
Negative kings can pull price in and then release it fast, so the reaction at 1,400 matters.
Upside
A bounce runs into short gamma at 1,430 (-$3.3M), 1,440 (-$7.3M), 1,450 (-$4.6M), and 1,460 (-$9.3M). That makes it fast but jumpy.
First real resistance is 1,470 to 1,500, and AVWAP at 1,497 is far above.
Plan
Pivot: 1,420, with 1,415 as the first line below.
Bounce: A reclaim of 1,440 is the first sign of stabilization. After a drop this fast, a sharp relief move is plausible. Fading into 1,460 to 1,470 is cleaner than chasing.
Bear: Below 1,415, expect a quick move to 1,400. A break of 1,400 opens 1,390 with little beneath it.
$SPX ran about 7818 to 7796.94, which was the low of day. It finished the replay near 7805. The platform's own labels show the day's story:
7815 was the ceiling. Price rejected the GEX MAX node at 7815, and a 7820 positive node sat above it.
Negative nodes marked each low. The card read "tags 7805: low of day," then 7800, then 7795. Each short-gamma strike acted as a magnet, then the bottom.
#GEX MAX shifted from 7815 to 7810 late in the replay. The tags became "Go Up, 7810, valid while above 7795," and price bounced from 7798.88 to 7805.53.
The Go Down card targeted 7800, "valid under 7820," and price reached it. That is a clean hit. ##gammaexposure #daytrader #options #spx
6:20 AM (Tuesday pre-open, 10/13 map): ES held up, but QQQ is deep in short gamma with a negative king, and SPY is sitting on a hole just under spot. Column order is ES, QQQ, SPY. SPY's 778.50 and QQQ's 742.53 are likely the last cash prints, so only ES is live.
ES (7,807.2, -0.06%)
King 7825 ($6.96B), with 7850 ($6.28B) and 7800 ($4.71B) as the other big walls. 7805 ($2.30B) is spot's cell.
Floor: 7810 down to 7795 is all positive, so the 7795-7810 zone is real support.
Air pocket: 7785 (-$13M), then 7775 (-$666M), 7770 (-$387M), 7765 (-$565M), 7760 (-$897M), 7755 (-$610M), and 7750 (about -$1.07B). A break of 7790 opens it fast.
QQQ (742.53, -1.16%)
King 740 is negative (-$1.29B), 2.5 points below spot, so it's a downside magnet.
Spot at 743 (-$103M) is inside the pocket. Everything from 749 to 730 is short gamma, with 734 (-$340M), 742 (-$207M), 741 (-$186M), 735 (-$182M), and 745 (-$222M) the heavy cells.
Overhead: 750 ($427M) is the first real wall, 7 points up. 748 ($2.8M) and 751 ($309M) are thin. A bounce has little to lean on until 750.
$SPY (778.50, +0.05%)
King 785 ($1.92B), with 780 ($854M), 781 ($512M), and 783 ($377M) stacked as a ramp. Heavy overhead cap.
Spot at 778 (-$17M) is on the edge. 779 ($213M) is the last positive cell. Below it: 777 (-$142M), 774 (-$293M), 772 (-$790M, the big hole), and 770 (-$335M).
Note the SPY and QQQ prices disagree on direction, with QQQ -1.2% and SPY flat. That suggests SPY's print is stale, so I'd trust the QQQ level more.
vs. Monday night: QQQ's 740 negative king and the 750 wall are unchanged. SPY's 772 hole and 785 king are also the same. ES is basically flat, 7793 to 7807.
Plan
Bear: QQQ below 741 targets 735 to 734. SPY below 777 opens 774 to 772. ES below 7790 opens 7775.
Bounce: $QQQ reclaiming 750 or SPY reclaiming 780 is the first sign the pocket is done. Fading into those walls is cleaner than chasing.
ES: Holding 7795 argues against a deep flush.
Caution: This is pre-market and 0DTE flow reshuffles it at 9:30. Re-check the levels at the open.#gex #gammaexposure #daytrader #stockmarcket #options
10:00 PM (Monday night, $975.20, -5.23%): MU closed down more than 5% and now sits in a deep short-gamma zone, with net gamma at -$177M. The 1,028 level from Sunday broke, and price has fallen through the whole 1,000 to 1,030 strip I flagged as the cushion-then-air-pocket setup.
The structure
King 980 is negative. It's -$36.4M on 10/16 (puts -$72.7M vs calls +$36.4M), and -$8.8M on 10/14. Spot is 5 points below it, so a negative king just overhead is acting as resistance and a magnet in one.
Spot at 975 is short gamma (-$8.25M on 10/14, -$8.5M on 10/16). 970 (-$30.8M on 10/16), 960 (-$35M), and 950 (-$19.1M) are the deep holes below.
Short gamma runs from 995 down through 950 on both front expiries, so there's no cushion anywhere in that stretch.
Positive gamma doesn't show up until 945 and below, and those cells are tiny ($155K, $71K, $1.5M at 930). The first meaningful support is far down.
Upside
1000 on 10/16 is +$33M, the only large positive cell nearby, and it's the call level. It's 25 points up, so it's a far target.
985 to 995 is all negative, so a bounce moves through a short-gamma strip. That makes it fast but jumpy, and each strike is a place sellers can reload.
AVWAP is 990.07. Reclaiming it would be the first real sign of stabilization.
Chart: The daily shows a rejection from the 1,100 area and a steep drop. A hidden bullish divergence (hDIV ↑) is forming near the lows, with DIV 3↑ 5↓, and a rising dotted trendline under price. That's a possible base, but it isn't confirmed, and the gamma map shows nothing to catch a fall.
Context: This is the second time MU has flushed into the 1,000s. Thursday it hit 1,036, Sunday 1,028, and now 975. The 1,000 round number and the 1,050 king both failed to hold.
Plan for Tuesday
Pivot: 980 (negative king) and AVWAP 990.
Bounce: Reclaim 980 and 990 targets 1000 on the 10/16 wall. Expect jumpy moves through 985 to 995.
Bear: Below 970, expect acceleration toward 960, then 950, where the heaviest holes sit. Below 950 there's little until 930.#gex #daytrader #mu #Micron ##optionstrader
$AAPL map, Monday night 🟡
Closed 341.34, net gamma +$746M. King 340 ($446M on the weekly).
Hold 340 → 342.5, 345 wall. Lose 340 → 337.5 short-gamma step, then 335 cushion.

Monday night, 10/13 map for Tuesday's open: Only ES is live. $SPY and $QQQ show Monday's closing prints, so QQQ's -0.99% and SPY's -0.16% are the full-day moves. Monday's session faded into the close.
QQQ (743.86 close)
It closed inside short gamma, with 749 down to 734 almost wall to wall purple.
The negative king is 740 (-$989M), 4 points below the close. 745 (-$234M) and 746 (-$191M) sit just above it.
The first real wall is 750 ($517M), 6 points up.
SPY (777.31 close)
It closed on the edge of the pocket. 777 is -$92M and 774 is -$400M, with the big hole at 772 (-$939M).
The king is 785 ($1.62B), with 780 ($690M) as the first wall.
ES (7,793, live)
It sits on a cushion: 7795 ($1.25B), 7790, 7785, and 7780 are all positive.
The air pocket starts at 7775 (-$855M), with 7760 (-$843M) below.
The king is 7825 ($5.60B), with 7800 ($4.52B) overhead.
Scorecard: The 3:55 map had SPY on a 779 king and QQQ on a negative 751 king. Both gave way during Monday's session, and QQQ closed 7 points lower. I'm not certain whether that 3:55 screenshot was AM or PM, so treat that comparison loosely.
Plan for Tuesday
Bear: QQQ below 743 targets 740, then 735. SPY below 775 opens 772.
Bounce: QQQ reclaiming 750 or SPY reclaiming 779-780 is the first sign it's stabilizing.
ES: Holding 7780 argues against a deep flush. Losing it opens 7775.
#gex #daytrader #gamma #optiontrader
3:55 AM (Monday pre-open, 10/12 map): The Sunday-night structure has tightened. SPY and QQQ now sit right on their kings, but each has a deep short-gamma pocket directly underneath. Column order is ES, $SPY , $QQQ , and the prices are unchanged from Sunday (they're showing the last print, with only ES live).
ES (7,811.5)
King 7825 ($4.90B), with 7850 ($4.73B), 7840 ($3.55B), 7820 ($3.19B), and 7830 ($2.06B) stacked above. Heavy overhead, so bounces should stall.
Spot at 7810 is only $86M, a thin cell. 7805 ($1.61B) and 7800 ($1.70B) are just below, which is a solid floor.
Air pocket: 7790 (-$742M), 7785 (-$412M), 7780 (-$300M), 7775 (-$485M), and 7770 (-$266M). A break of 7800 opens it.
SPY (778.57)
King 779 ($1.91B), and spot is right on it. 780 ($933M) is the first wall above, with 782 and 781 at about $170M each.
This is the big change: 778 (-$1.69B) is the deepest hole, right under the king, then 777 (-$768M), 776 (-$312M), and 775 (-$46M). A loss of 779 drops straight into it.
Above 783, the overhead cells are tiny ($9M to $18M), so a push above 780 has little to stall on until 786 ($3M).
QQQ (751.38)
King 751 is negative (-$1.49B), and spot is sitting on it. That makes it a magnet that can release fast.
Short gamma runs from 750 down through 741: 750 (-$509M), 749 (-$178M), 748 (-$125M), then smaller.
Above: positive cells start at 752 ($567M), 753 ($165M), and 758 ($1.10M, unit cut off). The 760 king from Friday is gone, so the upside wall is weaker than it was.
vs. Sunday night: SPY's king moved from 785 to 779 and QQQ's from 760 to 751, both down to spot. The map is now pinned at price with the pockets right beneath. That means a fragile open: if the kings fail, moves can speed up.
Plan
Pin case: SPY holds 779 to 780, QQQ holds 751 to 752, and ES holds 7800, so the grind continues.
Bear: SPY below 779 targets 777 to 776. QQQ below 750 opens 748 to 745. ES below 7800 opens 7790 to 7775.
Bull: SPY clearing 780 can drift toward 783 to 786 on thin resistance. QQQ above 752 meets 753 and 758.
Caution: This is a pre-market map and 0DTE flow reshuffles it at 9:30. Re-check the levels at the open. #spy #qqq #gex #gammaexposure #daytrder ##optionstrader
5:16 PM (Sunday, 10/12 map): The weekend roll to the 10/12 expiry reset the structure. All three now sit above their short-gamma pockets on positive-gamma ramps, with kings overhead. Column order is $SPY , $QQQ , ES.
SPY (778.57, +0.60%)
King 785 ($1.25B), with 780 ($1.02B) as the first wall. 781-784 add $340-460M each, so the ramp from spot is solid.
Spot at 779 ($164M) is on the edge. 776-778 are small positives, and 774 (-$270M), 773 (-$111M), and 772 (-$372M) are short gamma. The trigger is 775.
QQQ (751.38, +0.51%)
King 760 ($1.14B) is 9 points up, with 755 ($542M) as the first stepping stone.
Spot at 751 ($32M) is thin, and 750 down to 744 is mostly short gamma (-$403K at 748 is a unit cut-off, so I wouldn't lean on it, but 746 -$201M and 745 -$281M are clear). QQQ has the least cushion of the three.
ES (7,811.5, +0.59%)
King 7820 ($4.85B), 9 points up, with 7825 ($3.88B), 7815 ($1.85B), and 7850 ($2.28B) stacked above.
Spot sits on 7810 ($697M), with 7805 ($1.98B) and 7800 ($2.57B) just below. That's a strong floor.
Short gamma only appears at 7770 (-$39M), which is far down, so ES is the most cushioned.
Scorecard vs. Friday night: SPY 776 to 778.6, QQQ 752 to 751, ES 7789 to 7811. The bounce toward the kings played out, with ES now within 9 points of its king.
Plan
Base case: Drift and pin toward the kings (SPY 780-785, ES 7820, QQQ 755-760).
Bear: SPY below 775 or QQQ below 750 opens the pockets. ES needs a break of 7800 first.
Caution: ES is the only live market tonight, and the map reshuffles at Monday's open. Treat these as pre-open levels. $Spx #spy #gex #options #daytrader
8:06 PM (10/08 map): The three have moved lower since this morning. SPY sits on the edge of a short-gamma pocket, QQQ is deep in one, and ES is cushioned above but has a big hole below. Column order is now ES, SPY, $QQQ .
ES (7,771.9, +0.08%)
King 7825 ($2.81B), with 7800 ($2.27B) and 7805 ($1.65B) as the nearer walls. 7830 ($1.44B) and 7820 ($1.42B) add more above.
Spot sits on 7770 ($744M), and 7775 ($411M) and 7780 ($772M) are positive just above it. That's a thin cushion.
Air pocket: 7765 (-$136M), 7760 (-$83M), then 7750 (-$1.34B), with 7745 and 7730 also negative. A loss of 7770 can run toward 7750 fast.
7790 (-$523M) is a short-gamma strip overhead, which makes a bounce choppy.
$SPY (774.46, +0.07%)
King 780 ($1.15B), with 785 ($827M) behind it. 775 ($280M) is the last positive cell near spot.
Spot at 774 is -$291M, and short gamma runs from 774 down through 767 (772 at -$577M, 770 at -$677M, 767 at -$629M). No cushion in view.
QQQ (747.75, +0.02%)
King 760 ($958M) is 12 points overhead, too far to act as a near-term magnet.
Spot is inside the pocket. 749 and 747 through 740 are mostly negative, with 745 (-$377M), 740 (-$482M), and 742 (-$344M) the heaviest.
The "+80%" and "-80%" chips on QQQ look like small-denominator percent changes, so I'm ignoring them.
Scorecard vs. this morning: SPY's 774 pivot and QQQ's 753 are both lower. The pocket kept pushing price down into the afternoon, and QQQ is now about 5 points under where it sat at 9:02.
Plan
Bear: SPY below 773 or ES below 7770 opens 770 to 767 on SPY and 7750 on ES. QQQ's next big hole is 740 to 745.
Bounce: SPY reclaiming 775 to 780 or ES clearing 7790 is the first sign it's stabilizing. Fading into 780 SPY and 7800 ES is cleaner than chasing.
Caution: This is the 10/08map and it rolls to a new expiry at the next open. Treat these as overnight levels only.#gex ##daytrader #StockMarkets #gammaexposure #optionstrader
