Bush: I was on H1B
Obama: I was on H1B
Trump: I am on H1B
Trump or Biden: I will stay on H1B
What does it means? Rs & Ds , really doesn’t matter. It’s just blame game and corruption. #S386#S386IsGoodForAmerica#GCBacklog@SenatorDurbin@DickDurbin
I got married in this country.
I bought my 1st house here.
I started my business here.
I pay my taxes.
I follow the law.
But a 200 year wait time for a green card based on my country of birth is such a slap in the face.

This editorial from the @washingtonpost is a condensed version of my earlier WaPo op-ed (which it links to along with piece estimating the size of the green card backlog). https://t.co/DFmtzBmera
Recapturing unused #greencards would have a significantly positive impact on our economy.
@JeremyLNeufeld estimates that it would likely contribute $1+ trillion to the U.S. GDP over 10 years and increase net revenue by billions.

Since 1992, hundreds of thousands of green cards authorized by Congress have not been issued as a result of administrative complications. https://t.co/aCh5wCyAu5
@David_J_Bier Based on USICS math skills, numbers will be more. But they don’t care it’s 80k or 100k, for them we are “just an entry in their Database” and gateway to $$$$
@David_J_Bier USCIS chooses to waste a massive number of GCs; Courts not interested to intervene; Congress not interested in problems related to legal immigration; AILA lawyers keep making fortune
There are two streams of people waiting in line for a pathway to citizenship - illegal and legal immigrants.
Imagine Congress wants to provide a definite pathway to citizenship for illegal residents but not for legal residents? In what world is this fair? Why not both?
Last week, I sent a letter to @USCIS urging the agency to use all possible measures to ensure that unused Permanent Resident application (green card) numbers don't expire and go to waste due to long processing times caused by COVID-19. #GCbacklog
A small clip from the collaboration of @SIIA_US & @FTLOGFILM to screen the film "From the Land of Gandhi" at multiple cities across US to raise awareness about #GCBacklog. Be The Change.
My colleagues in H1B backlog — Can’t be promoted, scared to travel, no job security, no rights ! And all this in spite of working in the US “LEGALLY” for decades !
Guys, There is nothing more to be taken away from you !
Don’t be scared — make your voices LOUDER !

So @dghconference organizers insist on anonymity, but have no problem posting a dangerously false article by Raqib Naik (a co-conspirator in a pending defamation lawsuit) that names me and other co-founders of @HinduAmerican.
So I’ll just leave this here.

Drawing attention to plight of Indian and Chinese nationals facing decades-long wait to become permanent residents, @CongressmanRaja Krishnamoorthi leads a group of 40 colleagues seeking congressional action to end employment-based green card backlog https://t.co/CUPX7AvsZ7
@anirb_das Bad news is that, huge GC will be wasted, unless @USCIS take any drasatic measure to allocate them by 30th Sep. Please help us @USCISDirector.
